So that’s the main thing I got from this - apparently if you’ve consented to sleep with a number of people before, you have also consented to sex with anyone you so much as flirt with, and you can’t possibly be “pressured” or “forced” into it because, well, you’re a slut! What do you care about who you sleep with?

I also enjoyed how he emphasised again and again that he was so “desperate and lonely” and “mentally unstable”, which of course excuses him from any unreasonable behaviour, without ever thinking that perhaps she wasn’t completely mentally stable or ready for a relationship either - which, by the sound of her (admitting to him that she had low self-esteem, thinks all she’s good for is sex, that she’d cheated in the past, had been in violent relationships), seems quite likely.

Let me say one thing - when someone admits that they have slept with a lot of people, and say it’s because they feel that is all they are good for, it is in no way “funny” that they might flirt with you and not want to fuck you. If anything it should be a sign that you should hold off on sleeping with them until they actually trust you, and realise that you won’t just leave when they aren’t sexual all the time. But of course, as much as he makes out how he thought they were “in love”, that isn’t what he was looking for in a rebound, was it?
